This natural phenomenon is amazing and we find an explanation for it on Los Angeles Times:
The electric blue glow is caused by an algae bloom commonly referred to as a “red tide.” The organism, a phytoplankton called Lingulodinium polyedrum, has bloomed since late August, turning the water a brownish-red color in the daytime, according to UC San Diego scientists.

Anyway, if the new Kindle Touch is an evolution, the new Kindle 4 (no touch) is an involution with less feature but a lower price. Also, the Kindle Fire has no chance versus iPad. A 7 inch tablet has no future and this lesson was learn by big vendors like Samsung.
